How to Create Big Photo Blog Like the Chicago Tribune

Is there a WordPress theme for a big pic blog like that? I ask because I haven’t been able to find a theme and can’t find info.

Perhaps the Zack 990 theme? (It hasn't been updated for a bit, but you can fork it on GitHub).
Also, Thad Allender and crew at Graph Paper Press have a number of beautiful WordPress themes, including Uno.
On Tumblr, there is the Quite Big theme or the Boston Polaroid theme.
