WordPress Software?

Getting pretty tired of WP’s clunky backend interface. Is there easy to use desktop software that will allow me to manage and edit posts, and also work with the plugins I use? (Publish2, image galleries, etc.)

To manage and edit posts, yes. To adjust plugins and settings, probably not.

Wordpress.org has a list of desktop "clients": http://codex.wordpress.org/Weblog_Client

There's also a WP plugin that lets you edit from the front-end, if you're already logged in. http://scribu.net/wordpress/front-end-editor Can be funky depending on the theme, but useful for quick edits.

Also, you might look into browser plugins that let you post/edit: I like ScribeFire. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1730/
